Breakfast Topic: All I want for Christmas ...

Maybe it'd be a mount such as the Vial of the Sands or Deathcharger's Reins. Perhaps one that involves a bit of a grind that you don't really feel like doing and would rather Greatfather Winter sort out for you, like the Cenarion War Hippogryph, or one that involves a bit of luck, like the Reins of the Raven Lord? A fellow guild member ran Sethekk Halls more than 150 times over a period of two years plus and finally got his a few months ago. Or perhaps you have another idea of the mount that you love the best in the game?
Perhaps you're one for companion pets. Are you hoping your subtle hints about Pandaren Monks and Guardian Cubs will have paid off? Or are you hoping for something from a trading card code? Is buying loot with real-life money cheating, and you want something that has to be found in-game? Perhaps one of the archaeology drops, such as the Crawling Claw, if the man in the red suit wouldn't mind surveying for hours on end on your behalf?
Perhaps you're someone who loves achievements or titles. What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been is an achievement and a mount all in one that wouldn't be a bad one to ask for -- and hey, remember it's purely fantasy right here, so you could even have Scarab Lord! What could possibly be better than that? Well, for me it'd be Arena Master; that would totally rock my world.
And for all you generous types out there, what are you getting your guildies and your other Azerothian friends? Are you wrapping up a Murkablo for a special someone? And what would you wish for, if the world were your oyster?

I wish I could get the "School of Hard Knocks" bit of the Children's Week achievement as a Winter Veil present, then nothing would stop me from getting "What a long, strange trip it's been" on every one of my characters!

Very much this.
I was able to get the one wearing a santa suit (AV is such an awesome place to do that). But, actually having to cap flags/bases (I don't spend much time pvp-ing, soo I'm not sure what the goal of each bg is) is just not something I see myself being able to make happen. Its the only holiday on the list that seems like it has one thing I won't be able to do. I've been knocking out other holiday achievements/titles as they come along on this new main, who had to start fresh for every holiday (I happen to start with brewfest) because I never did them as I was leveling her. I am 2 metas away from merrymaker (that I will get today or tomorrow).

The biggest problem is that everyone else is trying to cap or re-cap that same flag too, all within just the one week, so that you end up thinking "sh*t!" when you see someone getting the achievement instead of being happy for them, because it means you missed your chance again. And at the same time, the few who are there to actually do PvP are utterly pee-d off because nobody cares for the objectives, they just desperately try to get the requirements for the holiday thing. I dislike being asocial and disrupting other people's gameplay and I feel this achievement forces me to. I do wish they'd get rid of it already :-(

I want a laptop that's actually capable of running WoW (or any other game for that matter). I have to content with myself with 6 fps, count myself lucky with 15 fps, and struggle on with 2 fps. It's not fun.

I am playing WoW from Japan with a netbook as my only computer right now. I have to duck my head and steadfastly avoid looking at the signs in computer store windows when I pass through Akihabara Electric Town, because I start having thoughts like "Well, it's only TWO months rent..." and "You know, who NEEDS food? I mean REALLY?"

This. Ran Siege with some friends last night, and not a one of us got anything. I get it, two of us were rolling on the same tokens with 80 % of the raid (druid/mage/rogue/dk token, anyone?) but it would benice to get a drop at some point, maybe... ;_;

I'd loove a Vial of the Sands.. and I'm not doing anything to actually make it happen. max alchy hasn't done one dig of archeology.. of course, its not even level 85 yet either.. and I just got a good idea how to get her there without questing... :) Maybe someday!
Or that Raven Lord mount that continues to elude me.. something else to do today.. try to get one. :)
