I strongly agree with this.During Wrath, I was extremely disheartened by Marwin and Falrick not being present prior to the Hall of reflect dungeon. I honestly feel that a lot of the "over exposure" of the Lich King during Wrath (his appearance in Borean Tundra and Zal'Drak spring to mind) would've been better handled by these two.Sadly, despite the efforts made during T11, Blizzard have still struggled to intigrate raids and lore together.Blackwing Descent, for example, wonderfully explains the reasons behind the existance of every boss thanks to Nefarion's narration, but we were never given a good reason to go in there in the first place. Then, Bastion of Twilight presented the complete opposite. We're given a great reason to go there, but, with the exception of Valiona and Cho'gall, there was no background on the other bosses.Sadly, I don't see Blizzard inproving on this. The Dungeon Journal seems to be a lore copout in this regard.Raid bosses need a lead in. There's more effort on the release dungeon bosses than there was with the majority of the raid bosses. Heck, this issue has occured since TBC. Pathaleon the Calculator in Mechanar had more in-game presence than about 80% of TBC's raid bosses. Seriously, off the top of my head, only the end bosses in raids have any effort in their lore, excluding Prince Malchezaar of course.
