I dunno...it's just a fairly meaningless buzzword that indicates that it's the hardest difficulty of 5-man dungeon for a level capped player. In MoP we'll have normals, Heroics, and then Challenge Mode. At that point, the Challenge Mode will be considered the hardest version of the dungeons. I don't see any reason to change the name of heroics and confuse things just because some people don't feel they live up to their personal opinion of what difficulty level denotes something as being appropriately heroic...
