I get downvoted for asking a simple question. And they say the only bigots are straight people?

It hit twitter already !!

One assumes you are being down voted because there is no context for your response.Think about it. It could be taken very very badly. Always better to be overly specific in such cases. Plus so many readers love Fox and Tyler to distraction, so they might be knee jerk reacting to what could be perceived as a threat or insult.Shame I didn't figure it out until after I had developed my little warlock crush on Tyler. :''(

That's the problem with today's society. Everybody is so damn scared of offending other people they don't say anything. I asked a simple question and I get downvoted into oblivion by the "cult of niceties.".If it had been revealed that one of the writers in question had been straight, there would be no raging fanboy/girls if a reader posted "wait, _____ is straight?". It is simply a question that could be met with just as simple of an answer as, "yes" or "no". No downvoting needed. It is built into the culture of the "culture of niceties" that if offense could POSSIBLY be taken in the smallest way, to jump on that and take offense to it at maximum level.
