Thanks to
@Proenix00 on Twitter, we now know that the new Eye of the Legion pet and cosmetic item Demon Hunter's Aspect are rewards from the
WoW TCG.
Datamined from the new
patch 4.3.2 files, these new items have been fueling some talk as to whether
Mists of Pandaria would include more Legion-inspired antics or if the launch events leading up to the new expansion would be demonic in nature. The Feldrake mount does not appear in the list of items in the screenshot we have, but it could be possible that the Feldrake mount will get subbed in.
We do not yet know which
TCG expansion that these items will be available in and whether or not the Feldrake is the equivalent to the Timewalkers Mount that is labelled [DNT] in the screenshot above. Hopefully, it will all be revealed to us soon. The Timewalkers Mount sounds to me like it might be more akin to the new chromatic dragon mount models found in the previous patch. At this point, we do not have concrete details.
Brace yourselves for what could be some of most exciting updates to the game recently with patch 4.3. Review the official patch notes, and then dig into what's ahead: new item storage options, cross-realm raiding, cosmetic armor skinning and your chance to battle the mighty Deathwing -- from astride his back!

I work in a game store, and the WoWTCG is actually pretty popular, and not just because of the loot rewards, either-and not just in my neck of the woods, but it's a pretty popular game in general. They're constantly holding contests and tournaments and the like for it. I went to a WoWTCG tournament at a local convention here a few months back and it was PACKED-there was even a line out the door a few times just to sit down and play.
It's very, very similar to MTG, except they carefully avoid the use of the word "Tap", and use "Exhaust" instead. It's really easy to learn how to play, and there's a lot of customization. They also do an amazing job of making card abilities feel like the appropriate class ability/spell, which I think is pretty spiffy.

I never assumed they were playable, only possibly coming to the game some day.
This is an issue of context, and you're totally replying in the context of something I was not intending to communicate.
I never intended to communicate anything other than my desire and it's fuel, not to imply there was any promise made.
Far too many words have been typed over this now.

TGC?!? FFS! Who is that moron who's playing TCG games nowdays?
Thank to all gods GW2 and Kingdoms of Amalur will release soon.

Get rid of the loot on TCG items! its really getting annoying that in order to get the, by far, coolest mounts, pets, and vanity items in the game, you have to shell out hundreds on TCG cards, hoping to get the loot card, or hundreds on a TCG loot website.
Not to mention, The TCG mounts being BoE, and so high priced just encourages gold buying to get it off the AH.
Make these cool items from REALLY hard acheives, or rare drops from bosses. Just stop putting them on these damn loot cards. People will still buy them because they like the TCG game, not because they have a chance of winning in game items.
I would just llike to think i might have the possibility of owning one of thee amazing items some day, without having to shell out a few hundred bucks.

Wonder if this is the nail in the coffin for a playable demon hunter class? Unlike, death knights, all that a demon hunter could do was given away a long time ago. Then we have another melee dps coming along in the form of monks and making the competition for melee dps even more crowded. After that Illidan gets classified as a warlock in the early mop talent trees. Then we see him using stealth in an instance. Now finally we have the ability to look like a demon hunter.

I figured that classification was due to him turning half-demon, though.

It was, you see metamorphosis was the last ability in the demon hunter estate sale to be given away.

"Wonder if this is the nail in the coffin for a playable demon hunter class?"
Well, do keep in mind that the next playable race and class were previously a Blizzard Store pet, the Pandaren Monk.

Just wanted to point out that Proenix is one of the Spanish MVP posters! Props to him for finding this. :)

Sorry. Guess I'm still bitter that the cardgame got the Rocket mount instead of doing the common-sense idea and having it be a difference between Gnomish and Goblin engineering - gnomish get the copter, goblin get the rocket.
