I don't mind archeology--it's a great pastime while you are waiting for a raid or when your spouse asks you to keep an eye on the oven. The only thing is the lack of big payoff. When I am digging, I am thinking: I should be farming right now, or I won't be able to afford the enchant on that upgrade I've got my eye on. If archeology could pay off at the same rate that farming or fishing does, it would be worthwhile.
