A quick note to anyone who has already completed the quest, or are looking for an interesting twist to the shield:

Heroic Culling of Stratholme's final boss has a good chance of dropping the Royal Crest of Lorderon shield, which makes a very, VERY cool look, and allows any role players out there that what to claim they are from Lorderon a nice way of doing it.

A better alternative, that uses the same skin on a different model, is Commander's Crest.

They Royal Crest is also very useful for Forsaken roleplaying "undead Lordaeron guard". It's even more fitting I'd say, since they actually are the people of Lordaeron.
