I like your idea, but I say flop it. I'd like to see a raid on the opposing capital! If they want to showcase the faction war, that sounds like a good way to do it. It could be so much more than just the "For the [X]" achievements. Give it a story, almost let us kill the faction leader, make some memorable impact...and the whole thing's instanced, obviously, so it doesn't ruin any PLAYER'S day.
