I just wanted to comment, and this makes no difference to the use of the location as an RP spot, but the Scarlet Enclave isn't phased for Death Knights. It's it's own instance. The entire starting zone is. When you complete the starting zone, you get a teleport to your main faction city which puts you in the real world.

The real world version of the location is simply empty. There is no phasing for Death Knights there.
