If I may add, I believe that somewhere it is stated that all of Azeroth's ley lines converge under Karazhan, weakening the fabric of reality as well. Kind of cool.

Didn't they shift up to Northrend in Lich King? Wasn't there some blue dragon thing? (too asleep to remember lore correctly)
