I consider myself a pretty average player, and I have full t13, though no gurths as my main spec is prot. I'm rocking about 98%, but with either a trinket or windwalk proc rocket over the 102.4% mark.

I honestly think that it sounds like you arent focusing enough on your warrior. If it is your favorite, I can't see why you can't have full t13 for your chosen spec and be approaching your ctc goal (not dual-weilding Gurthalak's is understandable, my group hasn't downed regular madness yet). A little reforging tetris can go a loooong way.
