I play all 10 classes in LFR on a weekly basis. I'm having a hard time picking which character I consider my main. I love them all. I generally pick the unpopular spec. I love hearing people say a spec isn't raid viable, and proving them wrong. And I totally believe that unless you're at the highest level of raiding, pick the spec you enjoy playing the most. You're going to perform your best in most cases when you're having fun.Warrior: This was my first toon, and was Prot all the way up to Cataclysm. I just don't enjoy tanking on him as much anymore. I play him just for fun now. I love the survivability of Fury, and dual-wielding 2H weapons is too much fun to pass up.Shaman: This is probably my new main. Enhance, all the way. I have a resto dual-spec and gear set, but never get around to playing it. I love the combination of in-your-face visceral melee and the added level of spell casting.Druid: Feral all the way. I never have really excelled at bear... but I've always been competitive in cat form, regardless of what people are saying about the spec. Hunter: I'm always BM. I don't pay attention to which spec is performing the best. I think BM best represents what makes hunters unique. I love the unique pets and knowing that those pets are significantly contributing to my dps. I can swap out to SV when needed for fights, but I don't enjoy it as much.Mage: I love Fire, but I've never been successful with it. I keep reverting to my Arcane ways. Rogue: I'm new to rogue, combat is the only spec I've tried.Priest: I consider my priest to be Disc. Back in Wrath, I adopted Disc because people said it was only a PVP spec. 5-mans would boot you for being Disc. I loved getting the chance to show people that Disc priests were not limited to tank healing. But lately I've been having fun with Shadow. It's probably the spec I'm worst at. But I love the fact that you constantly have to be on top of several different things at one time. If you screw up, it really shows up in your dps.Warlock: I love Demo. Like hunters, I think warlocks are made unique by their use of pets. And what's not to love about being able to turn into a big scary demon yourself. Sadly, I haven't been able to perform at a high level in Demo this expansion. I see others doing it. I read about what I should be doing. It never translates to high dps numbers for me. Paladin: She's my new tank. Ret is fun as an offspec. I started her as holy, but lost interest when Ulduar came out. I'm supposed to move AND heal? I can't put beacon on myself, heal the tank and just stand in bad stuff? I'm out.DK: Unholy now. I used to tank in blood, when nobody tanked in blood... and I DPS'ed in blood too. Since I lost the ability to DPS in blood, I went unholy and haven't done much else since then. Like the Queensryche song says, I'm spreading the disease! And ghouls are so much fun, I want one at my side 24/7.
