Around Azeroth: What if they held a war and no one came?
OK, folks, what the hell? I've been preparing myself, leveling and gearing up, just for the day when I could walk through the Dark Portal and fight the evil forces of the Burning Legion alongside my comrades. All I can see here is an empty battlefield, and now you're telling me that all the demons packed up and left years ago. Illidan's dead. Kil'jaeden's banished. Everyone's run off back home to fight some stupid dragons! Well, then, there's only one thing I can do. To me, new minions! All hail the new level 58 ruler of Outland! (Thanks to Muradrana of Brewdrinkers Anonymous on Ysondre [US-H] for the screenshot!)

Well, I started my life in the World ... of Warcraft midway through BC. I loved sending my characters through the portal and everything was fresh, exciting, and new.
Now, I am leveling a Horde alt that just hit 60, and Outland is fun all over again. I always look at older content as a "period piece". Nostalgia can be fun, too - and it reminds you of the journey. I think it adds dimension to your character (roleplay not necessary).
If you are Alliance, and have run through Outland several times already, roll Horde and have fun. And if you are Horde, roll Alliance and come over to the winning side for a change! Heheheh. (Grab your sword and fight the Horde! Huzzah!)
Kudos to Elisabeth for reminding us to "change up" once in a while, even when the content has been around for several years.
