Zervanity's version has a few subtle things that recommend it. First, I like the view from space shots, since that gives the song a nice, worldly feel. Second, it felt like Zervanity used a larger variety of Azeroth races in his song. That being said, the visual distortion in the video felt distracting. I think it was purposefully meant to be the audio line in video form, but it just seemed like some bad data distortion. It happens.
Nice job, Zervanity. I hope you keep expanding.

That was *so* close to the other video that he probably should have given credit to Atraira.

Perhaps the round booty of the Draenei is where they keep that extra rhythm.

I would say this is a rip-off of the original version. Not only do most of the shots take directly from the original, but the visual distortion is apparantly trying to replicate the effect used in the beginning and end of the first video.
And this is for a graphics design class? This is plagarism. He's turning this in for work, when all he did was view a video, and tried to copy it. Unless the class's object was find something and try to replicate it, this shouldn't even get him a grade.
And larger variety of races? He uses like two-three characters per scene tops. The original had dozens of characters in some shots, every single race that was out at the time.
