I'd say positioning is definitely one of those things that tanks can do to make dps happy. It's not just moving the mobs out of fires. Not moving a group that doesn't need to move. Allowing the boss'/mobs back to be where melee can be. Not dragging stuff onto the hunter, grouping stuff up, etc.
