i wonder if this means ill have a reason to upgrade my 6gb ram to 12 now. (tri channel is awkward to buy for...) but what i dont get is how my graphcs card onboard vram (2.5gb) fits into all this. im pretty sure i rarely see wow taking more than 300mb of ram from the graphics card in evga precision (gpu monitor that outputs on my keyboard)

it won't make a difference in that ram. It is set aside for the GPU and is not used by the CPU. As such, it is never called into question in the great 32/64bit argument. The only way to make a difference there is to turn up your graphics settings.
