WoW Insider's Weekly Webcomic: Safe Passage -- Convergence
Welcome to the first edition of another WoW Insider's Weekly Comic, Safe Passage: Convergence.
Another side of the story needs -- no, demands to be told.
Welcome back to the next and final arc in the Safe Passage series. Pardon the gore, but this is World of Warcraft, not World of Gummy Bearcraft (although that would certainly be yummy).
Check out the full comic right here, and tune in next Wednesday for a new page. You can also see all the previous pages in the gallery below.

I wonder who it is

The faint detail at the top of the axe leads me to believe it's dwarven, therefore dear ol' da.

Also if you notice, the axe seems to have two blades. Battleaxes seem to be a favorite of dwarves.

It can't be dear ol' da, because the accent is part of his character, and clearly not present here. I'm guessing it's one of the Taurajo survivors.

This almost makes me feel sorry for the Quillboars. Much like Gnolls though, it is impossible to actually feel sorry for them.

I find only one problem with this comic - I have to wait till next week to seen the next one.
Its the first post on WoW insider I have seen for a while and gone "Great this is back"
I liked the first Safe Passage, I loved the second one.
Keep up the good work.

Amazing! I can't wait to see more.

I was actually a bit worried that this page was too gory...
Hooray for being desensitized! :D

Blood's less off-putting in monochrome. Or so says the Kill Bill Theorem.

Don't know why, but:
Cutting off body parts: meh.
Blowing up a mammoth and collecting the cooked bits out of the snow: Ewwww.
Killing abominations that are already gross in their own right, pulling apart the corpses, then sewing *those* back together to make a revived, non-undead, complete being: Not only should this *not* have worked, but WHY BLIZZARD WHY!?!

I had a sense of deja vu when I read this, then realized why - it's very similar to the cinematic for Cataclysm... even to starting with the same word:
"Rage..."
psiberkiwi Jan 13th 2012 3:25AM
Oh, is my face red...
The first word in the cinematic I was referring to isn't 'rage' (it's 'Agony'...) but still, the similarity is still there: first a word, then an image, followed by a second word then image, etc.
