No, I use recount not to see if I beat everyone. But to see if everyone is doing their job properly, especially me. I have a lot of alts and need to know if I'm doing things correctly. I tried turning it off for a while but had no idea if I was doing enough dps ('enough' as defined by me).There's been a number of times on certain toons where, if it wasn't for Recount, I would've never gone and read up on my priority 'rotation' or spec, and therefore never improve.On the other side, I also find it useful to know if someone is doing less than 8-9k in a new Twilight dungeon. This gimps the whole grp and shows that the person isn't trying at all.That said, spamming Recount in party chat unasked is a douchebag move.
