My main problem with the "survey" mechanic: How, exactly, am I "surveying" when I'm on the *north* side of an immense, impossible-to-see-through elven/troll ruin, or gigantic tree, or big hill, and it points me in a straight line to a spot on the *south* side of that obstacle?
