Selling game time on my server (Quel'Thalas-US) is pretty much the norm and totally normal. WoW game cards are not sold on latin america, except for Argentina and Brasil I think, but other than that, you can't buy them unless you Import them. Also, many countries on latin america have limits on the amount of dollars you can have for electronic transactions, so payment with credit card is not always possible. In my country, I only have access to 400$ per year for electronic transactions. But in my case, I don't have a credit card.My options? 1.- Buy an overpriced game card (about 55$) on local money to an online store I know of.2.- Farm 25k gold and buy a 2 month card.I'll take numbre 2 any day.I understand that Blizzard doesn't endorse this, and I can't complain to a GM if I get ripped off. But since this is pretty common in my server, the community is already used to being honest, since a bad rep can hurt their sales. Also, Blizzard seems to understand our situation and don't mind that we do this.I hope there would be in the future some kind of system implemented to do this "legally".
