WoW Moviewatch: Exodar Disco

If it could ever be said that I have an Alliance bias, blame the Exodar Disco. Moon lights, grooves, and a talking disco ball. What more could you possibly want? I regularly grab a space goat and get my boogie on in the Exodar.
I couldn't tell you what makes this video so brilliant. The song is awesome, the animation is wonderful, and the voice acting is spot-on. But plenty of videos have those things. I think it's something about the raw love and affection for the game, draenei, and disco shown in the performance. It's just all tone-perfect, as if the Exodar were solely created expressly so this video could happen. Enjoy, folks.

Don't get me wrong, I love the music video, but It might be time to retire it.

Never retire it! I think a well-timed Exodar Disco article is very important. It takes approximately 6 months to get that song out of your head, so a timely refesher is very important!

I think it's the hook, pretty much everything is forgettable but the hook... I rolled a space goat just so I could dance around the Exodar humming the hook to myself.

GreyFoo is one of the most underrated machinamists on youtube. His awesome voice and editing makes his videos something very different than every other schmuck making WoW videos. His videos deserve way more views.

If you read the lyrics on The Greyfoo's YouTube page, you will see that the word is "moodlights" and not "moon lights." Moodlights were very popular in the Disco era. The Greyfoo knows his stuff.

I know what mood lights are, and that's what the lyrics are; I just assumed Michael was aiming for the whole space pun thing. :p It could very well be a type-o, but the letters aren't exactly near each other.

I'd really like this song but Embersolte's faltering voice really grates my ears. This must have been one of her first videos or something, or she was trying to sing outside of her range.
