It's a cool starting experience but I wish Blizzard would allow an opt out if done once already and use the Orc or Troll starter area instead. There would be a lot more goblin players in the game then I feel. That said, nice threads.

There are a lot of goblins in the game on my server. I'm actually sort of glad that re-doing the starting area is a bit of a deterrent to some.
For the record though... it never stopped me from starting a goblin, I love it every time I go through it, plus it's easy to do, easily done in less than a day. (But then, re-doing starter zones has never been a problem for me - mostly because I always think of it as such a fresh experience exploring the ins and outs of my new character's abilities.)
However, I do wish that there were a bit more to explore - stuff that actually might be overlooked by people who are just rushing through the starter zone. But I wish that for all the revamped areas.
But hey, bling doesn't hurt one bit. I wish I had been able to keep these clothes.

Maybe it's just me, every time I roll a Goblin there's a large groan going on in my mind. I have a lot of fun when I reach Orgrimmar.

Most of my new characters were goblins until I swapped servers/factions. fantastic starting area if a bit too long and inescapable. Also, this song came on just as I started reading this post.
