I can't guarantee you'll like this song, but I'm embedding it anyway because, by golly, I have a platform with which to provide people with weird-ass music.
Adam asked:
Do you think we'll see another raid after the big bad boss raid this expansion as we have with others (Sunwell after Black Temple, Ruby Sanctum after Icecrown Citadel)?
Blizzard reps did say that this was the last major content patch before MoP, but I think the wording on those statements has been altered slowly since the patch was originally previewed, so we honestly have no idea at this point. I hope we don't, but only inasmuch as it would mean Pandaria would be here sooner.
Noyou asked:
Why are some real life creatures given slightly different names in WoW. Zhevra, Crocolisk, to name a couple.
The same reason why in any given Star Wars novel people will use phrases like "like a lightsaber through bantha butter!" instead of "like a hot knife through butter" -- silly fantasy worldbuilding.
Then again, zhevras have horns and crocolisks have six legs, so they're technically different animals, even if they're very clearly based on real-world animals.
Luotian asked:
I recently got a nook color and discovered the wonderful world of Apps. I love playing around with the thing on my lunch break, and I can't help wishing there was a WoW App for me to play with. Not the full game, mind you, but something that might let me farm or craft or load one zone to play around in for a little while.
Do you think anything like that will ever be released?
I think it's honestly pretty likely. Blizzard has this Blizzard Arcade initiative we heard about at BlizzCon, and the mobile space is obviously growing, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if we saw some kind of WoW action going on in the mobile space sometime soon.
Ronni asked:
Do you think we will get more races to play after Panda in a future expansion? Naga/Murloc/Gnoll/Ooze-expansion?
I think neutral races are the way of the future, if we get new races again at all. We've probably passed the point where it's worth the development time to create two different races for each faction, and there are some pretty cool options for neutral races that just wouldn't quite fit in either faction alone.

I've been wanting to ask this for awhile because it seems like talk of faction leaders keeps coming up, but didn't Blizz say sometime at the end of wrath that Lor'themar was going to play some sort of role in cataclysm? I think I remember seeing a blue post about it in an article here but can't find it. I think if ANY faction leader needs lore development, it's that guy. At least Velen has that "end of the world" prophesy to fall back on.
So my question(s) are: did Blizz say he would play an important role in Cataclysm? If so, what happened with that plan? If not, what are the chances of him having an important role in MoP?

The original version of the intro to Twilight Highlands involving a traitor actually used Grand Magister Rommath and Archbishop Benedictus instead of the random one-offs that got implemented in live
Shade Jan 14th 2012 12:45PM
Forgot to mention the relevance to your question... Lor'themar was the one to discover the Horde traitor, not Garrosh.
Tri Jan 15th 2012 2:25AM
Kinda wish they had stuck with their original plan. Would make a lot more sense to see Benedictus in the end of HoT that way... I know it's in the Twilight of the Aspects book, but not everyone reads those..

Q for the Q:
What happened to mogging heirlooms and mailing them? I remember seeing a level 20 Paladin in full T12 and when I went to do the same for a priest I made, it didn't work. What gives?
Arrohon Jan 14th 2012 12:14PM
It was a bug that they fixed.
Tfish92 Jan 14th 2012 10:54PM
That was never supposed to work in the first place. It was a bug that allowed people to do it, and it was fixed.
Nayer Jan 14th 2012 12:22PM
I believe they fixed it so that you can't do that anymore.
Noselacri Jan 14th 2012 12:22PM
It was a bug. They changed it so anything you sent in the mail would lose it's transmogged appearance.
Tovin Jan 14th 2012 12:22PM
It was a bug, albeit a welcome bug. It has since been fixed.

The wording was always "We don't really plan to have a transition raid and instead do non-raid story events, but we may have to do it if MoP takes too long"

Where is the epic gem vendor ? Every other e-pac has had 1 , any word when 1 will be added?
eel5pe Jan 14th 2012 12:21PM
nope.
Revynn Jan 14th 2012 1:09PM
As of right now, the only Epic gems you can buy are pre-cut PvP gems.
I'm still betting we'll a small 4.3.5 type patch that will add in epic gem transmutes or something (they've been in the game files since Cata launched), but Blizzards given no indication of it.
TimR Jan 14th 2012 1:55PM
I'm hoping to see the epic gem transmutes sneak into 4.3.2, but don't really expect it.
Frank Jan 14th 2012 2:50PM
The vendor is at the base of Wyrmrest Temple in Dragonblight. When you run DS in non-LFR you get tokens that you trade to get a chance at an epic gem. I had 3 tokens last night and got 2 epics and one rare gem last last night.
Angus Jan 14th 2012 12:16PM
Anyone else think the LFR system is actually a bunch of gleefully evil GMs deciding to put 11 Paladins into a raid (4 Holy!) just to put their token in ONCE during the raid to mock them? (This is only an example)
I am having a hard time believing that the system matched 13 people on one of the tokens, 8 on the other and 4 on the last and then RNG gave that last token out twice on every boss but one...
That or Blizzard figured out how to program an evil AI and it has begun trolling LFR for kicks. It will be in charge of the DIablo 3 loot drops soon, I believe.
eel5pe Jan 14th 2012 12:22PM
lol. sorry man. but keep in mind the alternatives are longer queues...
Draelan Jan 14th 2012 1:18PM
"That or Blizzard figured out how to program an evil AI and it has begun trolling LFR for kicks. It will be in charge of the DIablo 3 loot drops soon, I believe."
This was a triumph.
I'm making a note here: Huge success!
It's hard to overstate my satisfaction...

There was one time during ICC that my raid had 22 people on the same tier token and only 1 dropped in the entire raid. It was an alt/fun run to be sure, but it was so ridiculous that that run is more memorable than some of our progression runs from the time.
