@Abbadon: Agreed on LFR. In the very beginning, people were at least *trying* to not be asses. But it seems like since the progression-minded players got what they needed to gain a performance advantage in normal mode, their spots are more frequently being occupied with people who are fine with being "carried." And let me be clear about that - I don't care what someone's ability is, so long as they are *trying* to do their best. But to AFK half the fight, then roll and win loot, that's pretty galling. Or rolling on loot with no intent of using it, and then trying to sell it in raid. So I'd say the burnout in LFR is for entirely different reasons than four mode burnout.
As for 10/25 mode, I'm starting to think that the future of raid content will see 25-mans go the way of the 40-mans. How do I justify this? Development effort. WoW is a mature game; so long as it makes Blizzard money, they will continue to support it, but any place they can trim without destroying the overall experience, they will. Having to tune the encounter for two different models takes effort, and frankly the number of permutations to have to account for in 25-mans is a lot more diverse. The reason 25 mans still exist is a vestigial nod to the old 40-man model designed to help as many players go through raid content as possible. But with the LFR being a resounding success, there is almost NO justification to join a guild just because you want to raid; hence, organized raid play on a large scale, which is frankly a PITA to organize, I believe will be phased out. Maybe they'll merge 10s and 25s to 15s? (Of course, 40s will continue on in PVP play - there's no reason at all to take that away, since there is little to no content tuning that takes place.)
