i think it's amusing that the same articles get written again and again. hasn't this game been out like 10 years already?
isn't everyone finally tired of it yet?

I'm certainly not and I greatly appreciate these articles.
Just because something similar might have been written years ago doesn't mean everyone has read it. The points are still true and good. It never hurts to post a refresher.
Also there are lots of new people every day; it is good to help them learn.
If you are tired of the game, why not go do something else rather than troll Wowinsider?

Agreed, ravyncat!
Not everyone has been playing for years, or they may be learning a new role. These articles keep getting written because there are many times that the points mentioned above are not
Also, I have to agree with one of the points above about not expecting the tank to know everything. If the tank is setting an odd kill order or seems to be missing a mechanic, there's nothing wrong with letting them know (you can whisper if you're not 100% sure of what you're saying or are wary of embarrassing them). Open, friendly communication should be encouraged and will add to many players' enjoyment. Tanks also shouldn't be afraid to ask for advice about kill orders and such or if there's a mechanic you can't quite remember. A quick question will take far less time than a corpse run, and I've found many players are happy to help, especially if you are showing an honest interest in learning the role. There are few things that DPS will universally agree on moreso than the need for more tanks and shorter RDF queues.

I'm just coming up on my 1 year anniversary of starting wow - these articles frequently have at least a nugget of information that I find valuable... if not whole chunks of information.
If the article isn't aimed at you, feel free to skip on by it... and you damn sure don't have to comment on it (though - I always love to see the commentariat provide its collective experience and wisdom to further expound on topics!)
