Echo of Baine will put up a flame wall at the edge of the lava area. Most groups choose to weave their way through the adds rather than killing them. If someone is a bit behind and needs to wait for a pat to pass, he/she can be locked on the other side of the flame wall and be unable to DPS the boss. Or in my particular case, unable to heal the group.
