I think my main had a visit from a GM in game once. I was in Icecrown at lvl 79, trying to kill one of those 79e's (beginning quests in Icecrown.) in resto spec. I wasn't able to dps down fast, there was no enrage, but I could heal up enough to stay alive.

I kept seeing horde people come in, but they didn't want to help, and would just leave.

About 30 min into this, I had the mob at like 50%, finally this random player appeared. Their name was in yellow, I didn't catch the name tho.... They talked to me like they were a person, and asked if I would like some assistance.

I was like, sure!

We got the mob down in no time, and they said 'Just let me know if you need help again'...but they disappeared into thin air.

I haven't seen anyone like this since.
