Cataclysm destroyed a lot of the 25-man raiding guilds on my server (US-PvE, high population). Off the top of my head, I can list exactly four such guilds that still progressively raid. My previous 25-man guild absorbed the remnants of three other 25-mans. We still couldn't form a full guild raid because most of them simply stopped playing because it was not fun anymore. We wanted to run 25s, preferred them over 10s, but couldn't find players that wanted to deal with the logistics of larger raids when the smaller raids rewarded the same loot with less competition for it.
The guild that was formed the day the server came online in 2005 and two days later was raiding Molten Core? It's life-support will end the same day that Cataclysm ends. It would take something drastic (in a good way) to avert this.
