I've leveled two paladins and a priest EXCLUSIVELY through battleground PvP. By the time you get to 85, you know how to play your class for PvP. Strangely, both are Prot (one is Ret off-spec, the other Holy). PvP is probably for me the VERY BEST PART OF THE GAME. There is no "SuperMario" feel to it like there is with some encounters where if you know the sequence of buttons to push you have it beat (and more so with the little raiding I've done).
