I think the thing most people are missing is that the fights were already getting nerfed by people gearing past them. If the avg gear level of your group is 390 you're going to have an easier time than a group w/ an average level 380.

Perhaps people would like to see raids have a bebuff so everyone can't gear past it, everyone's gear will be limited to ilvl 390 and have it.

What average ilvl did the 1st group to down Deathwing have? What ilvl did you have when you downed it? Higher? Then the fight was nerfed for you, you should be limited to whatever avg ilvl the 1st group had. Other wise, what the 1st group did has been lessened some how...
