I agree completely about the DS Nerf. I've raided in Semi-Hardcore guilds and now a very casual guild. In my old more serious guilds we had extremely talented players and would have blown through DS. My current casual guild has some good and not so good players, but we have fun. We've been stuck on Warmaster Blackhorn for several weeks, and will probably finally down him this week. Do I wish we were progressing faster? Sure. But I know the capabilities of my teammates, and I understand why we are not. This will give guilds like mine the nudge to keep progressing. Otherwise I'm sure we would begin losing people, because failing on the same thing over and over is not fun for everyone.
I enjoy the experience of raiding with like minded people. I have fun spending a few hours a week with online friends working towards a goal. Raid Finder is not for me for that very reason. It's a way to see content, but not a way to get what I enjoy out of raiding.

Agreed. My main in the 25 man has cleared it all, but my 1st alt 10 man is stuck on spine normal, and my 2nd alt 10 man is stuck on Lultraxion. I actually consider all 3 of those toons as my 'progression toons'.
The other alts can just hump it on LFR. :)

Do you still get to replace part of a boss's name with "Lol" or "Loot" if you're STUCK on him?

I assume you're referring to "Lootship 2.0". I would never call it that. Our dps aren't particularly good at moving and dpsing at the same time, so we don't down the drakes fast, and we don't soak enough barrages. Like I said, I understand my teammates capabilities, but I still have fun.

@TimR: Do I know you? My guild is in the same predicament. lol. We finally got to the third phase of Warmaster Blackhorn after a quite few weeks of struggling past the first phase. It has been wearing us down but now that we've almost downed him I can feel everyone's renewed vigor to beat him.
On a side note: I kinda welcome the nerf buff but at the same time I kinda hope my guild doesn't use it because I really want to see if we can down DW without the assistance of it. It would be a huge sense of accomplishment then in my opinion. But if MOP is certainly on the not so far horizon I wouldn't mind using the buff then just so we can down him before the rise of the pandamonium. ((Which I'll be taking part of... If it's true Shammies can be Pandaren... so race changing my alt shammy and riding around on my matching zebracorn!)

I'm ok with the normal difficulty nerf.Where I have a proble is with the Heroics nerf. Heroics are for Hardcore raiders and you can't have the excuse of making the content available to everyone.
