Ummm.....no? Warlocks may opt to play the FOTM spec, but other than top tier raiding guilds, generally no one is going to force you to change specs. Perhaps on a given encounter one spec will outperform others (say being Affliction on Alysrazor if you dont have a fire mage going up) or if you don't have a Shaman or another demo lock providing the 10% sp buff, you may want to go Demo.
All three specs are viable. Demo is only top, for example, if you can stay in melee range.
#6 is #1 in my book!
