While I feel the same way about some of the previous commenters expectations on how in-depth this specific column should have been, I find no fault in why you wrote this. The simple fact of the matter is, even veterans can sometimes become oblivious to the abilities of an alt. My main is an arcane mage, has been since vanilla, and I just recently got my lock to 85. I don't even know half the non damaging abilities that I have that have potential to save situations from going south. But they exist. Far too often, people are concerned with being the highest dps, but that doesn't mean you're the best. What good are you if you stand in fire because you can't be bothered to move or your dps will suffer.I think Tyler is simply reminding us all that it's not always about pew pew, so much as it is going in with broader understanding of what you bring to the table. For those of you, myself included, that assumed this article was going to be more in-depth about rotations, situations, and cooldowns, I bring up the fact that the article presented was properly titled, and it's unfair to harp on Mr. Caraway because he didn't do what you assumed he should.Tl:Dr Friendly reminders of what you should be doing often help those of us that have been around since vanilla.
