I want to say (no proof) that when we were sent to go fetch her, and she said she loved the Dark Iron that "kidnapped" her and wasn't coming back to IF, she renounced her right to the throne, but stated that she wanted it for her son.

Or maybe it was Muradin that did something like "if you dont come home, you will never rule" kind of thing.
