YES! Papa's alive!!! Thankyouthankyouthankyou Cadi! That old dwarf needs something to go right in his life, and you just gave him the chance to do so.
And maybe, just maybe, finding out that an orc and a troll were the ones to save his daughters would bring him the peace and closure that he needed after seeing his son die at the hands of the Horde.
Now Brynne and Lisaara can grow up and have ADVENTURES.

Just thinking this would be a good quest line for WoW for either Ally or Horde.

Now the masses of thorns on the first two pages makes sense - he was fighting his way out of Razorfen Downs.
As to him learning of the whereabouts of his girls... If he makes his way to Fort Triumph, he will learn that they did indeed survive - although finding them from there could be dificult...
