A victory music success story
Hey Mat,Thanks for the email, Kanutor, and for bringing me back to a time my mind forgot with music that is hitting all sorts of weird parts of my brain right now. I can't believe I remember this music so well.
I saw your article on DBM Victory Sound and just wanted to thank you for such an awesome addon. I usually just play music when fighting bosses but this addon has given me way to play the sound when I'm fighting bosses.
I even made a vid of one I've made for short fights and victory music:
Thanks,
Kanutor

At first I tought the ''victory music'' would be the Victory Fanfare of the Final Fantasy series...
But now hearing the fight/victory theme of Red/Blue/yellow... Brings tears of joy to my eyes :'D

The default was the FF victory in this addon, but you can also set your own.

That music will be even more relevant in a few months, when certain capturable beings are going to be brought forth to fight each other until either faints, thus gaining some levels to attain more powerful attacks of which it can only know four.
It's amazing how such a simple concept which I have experienced endless times still excite me the way it does now...

Ha! I did the same thing after reading that article. I downloaded the addon, plugged in a few files of my own... Now I have Zelda-themed boss fights. The boss music from Twilight Princess, the Zelda fanfare from Smash Bros. and the death music from the original NES game.

This reminds me of another addon (name escapes me at the moment) that plays a bunch of Super Mario Bros sounds and music while you're playing.
I think I need to play around with this. Maybe some old Mega Man or Contra music, there are lots of fun ways to go with this.

Prepare for some serious nostalgia, kids.
This music plays during combat: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuZcZmyXjWQ
This music plays when the boss dies (the first 20 seconds or so): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpq8o--e1bk
Enjoy!
