Well, nothing like a sports fan putting down gaming. In my world, if you are not a gamer, you are nothing. I work in a high tech field, everyone around me is a gamer, and they all hate sports. We have LAN parties on Super Bowl Sunday to avoid it. I got my job by being a gamer, because I was well versed in tech. Sports does not always dominate. Most of the people I know avoid sports like the plague, and not because there is anything wrong with it, but they simply do not like it. Schools in my area have a hard time finding enough interested players, and have cut programs because of it. Do not get me wrong, someone who doesn,t work, because they want to play games might have an issue there, but I also know many generations of people who have never had a job, but will bet on the Super Bowl and play fantasy football til their mouse wears out. I'm sure there will always be sports fans, but they no longer control the universe. Geeks rule the world, Gamers control it. Get used to it.
