Breakfast Topic: What are your WoW pet peeves?
Last year, the Drama Mamas answered a letter from a person whose pet peeve was being called by her class instead of by her character name. The comments showed that many people agreed with her, while others argued that it wasn't impersonal so much as efficient. Re-reading that post made me want to talk about pet peeves again. Check out this ancient Breakfast Topic by our former editor-in-chief, which asks the same question I'm asking today, or this also similar one from last year.
But I think it is important to direct you to my declaration of my biggest in-game pet peeve: "rogue" vs. "rouge." This misuse really, really bothers me. I understand that it is an easy typo, but I also believe that many people think that is how rogue is spelled. As I've said before, rouge is a cosmetic applied to your cheeks; rogue is a deadly killer who likes to make with the stabby. My common response to that is (stolen from someone else): Rouges are overpowdered. That statement often gets a mixed response from the chat audience -- many misread it and want to start a class war.
Another thing that makes me rather irritated is "ne" instead of "any" in any context or word form. It's only one letter shorter! It actually takes me longer to type "ne," because I naturally type "any" as a touch typist. I know some people can't stand "plz" as an abbreviation, but I don't mind it anymore. "Please" is a much longer word than "plz," and people like shortcuts. But one letter! Gah! I need to get over it though and take Allie Brosh's approach. Maybe everyone who does it really only has one finger on each hand. I should be more tolerant.
Now, if everyone but funsuckers severely dislikes a particular thing, I don't think that is a pet peeve. For example, someone's stealing your gathering node while you are clearly fighting the mobs protecting it is not a pet peeve -- it is righteous anger. A mammoth sitting on a vendor, quest giver, or mailbox is reportable -- not a minor annoyance (also a really good target for Baby Spice).
But someone's asking a question in guild chat that can easily be looked up on Wowhead annoys some people but not others. If I know the answer off the top of my head, I am happy to respond. Not everyone feels that way and will insist on directing that person to the appropriate online resource.
What things bother you in game that aren't necessarily universal dislikes? How angry do you get about them? Which pet peeve is the worst for you?

Griefers, pvp campers, and above all, rude people.

Multiple random factors that have to align like stars for you to acheive a desired outcome: random group composition in LFR que, random loot drops, random rolls for said loot. I totally get the need for random - it's the risk of disappointment that makes success so sweet. And Blizzard needs it to be an enticing grind - othewise, why sub month after month? But it is tedious to run LFR repeatedly and keep failing to get the pieces you are looking for. My wish is for some way to slightly up your odds of winning every time you don't win the roll - never a guarantee, just increasing odds ever so slightly with each attempt, so at least you feel like you are getting somewhere.

... and, no roll bonus when you already have that token.

This may sound horrible and I may be downvoted, but hey, just being honest here.
When you get put in a LFD group with someone who doesn’t speak your language.
I’m not saying everyone should speak English. And I understand that there aren’t as many non-English servers as there are English servers, and that the non-English servers sometimes have to be in English battlegroups so they don’t have really long queue times for dungeons. I’m not saying there’s a better solution, I’m just complaining.
For example, the other day I was grouped with a Portugese player. He had queued as dps and tank and was given the tank roll, but was pulling all the groups as a caster and just casting starfire (this was a lvl 40 dungeon). We tried to play as long as possible without a real tank, but eventually wiped over and over to a certain boss. We couldn’t vote kick the guy, since apparently some other people had been kicked from the group before I joined. After 20-30 minutes of emotes, pointing, and failed Google translations (and then 20 mins or so of wiping), one of the dps finally left and was replaced by a hunter with a bear pet, and we were finally able to /point Tank then /point Hunter Bear Pet, and he got it, went bear form, and finished the dungeon.
I will say it was a nice sense of accomplishment to overcome language barriers, but honestly that run took substantially longer than it should have and we were all pretty frustrated by the end of it. And as annoying as it was for us, it was probably a lot worse for him, as he could clearly tell that we were not pleased with him, but he didn’t know why.
I know Blizz is doing its best with a non-ideal situation. I can’t think of any better way to do it, but that’s one of my current pet peeves.
