@Moeru When I need to farm ores, I'll do it on my rogue...there's no easier, quicker way to get elementium than to stealth through the depths in Highlands, and there's hardly anyone in there (or if there is, they're usually having to fight off other people). The only time I get concerned is when I'm in there and see other mobs sapped...then I know I've got competition!

As to grabbing other peoples nodes; if someone's there clearly going after it, I'll leave it alone. When an Alliance player swoops in to grab it from me, I get angry, but I get it and get over it. When a fellow Hordie grabs it off me though, that's when I get irate.
