Multiple random factors that have to align like stars for you to acheive a desired outcome: random group composition in LFR que, random loot drops, random rolls for said loot. I totally get the need for random - it's the risk of disappointment that makes success so sweet. And Blizzard needs it to be an enticing grind - othewise, why sub month after month? But it is tedious to run LFR repeatedly and keep failing to get the pieces you are looking for. My wish is for some way to slightly up your odds of winning every time you don't win the roll - never a guarantee, just increasing odds ever so slightly with each attempt, so at least you feel like you are getting somewhere.

... and, no roll bonus when you already have that token.
