Forgive me while I sit in a corner and fume. I've been looking forward to his story since the leader stories started and this is what I get?! I've already read this a bunch of times. They couldn't even be bothered to try? This is just kind of the cap on a really craptacular night.

Oh I am beyond fuming and have acheived a new sense of letting go and moving on. In the sense of most likly going over to guild wars 2. I mean I have LOVED the lore ever since warcraft 2 came out but blizz has grown fat on their success and lost touch with reality.I mean as the sole contender for this stuff they got used to handing out tiny often "meh" improvements to their seven year old game and expect us all to worship them for such meager scraps. We can see this with mists as they finally start getting it throgh their thick heads how important unique characters are by FINALLY updating the models and before that bringing out transmog. The finally start getting that this game is constantly about grinding and guess what it aint fun. Whena company has to keep on reminding us/them that they want wow to be "fun", a video game we pay to play and they have to emphasize the fun side of it?????Ans yes this was a brilliant story over three years ago and all that is fresh is ome artwork????? They create the very cool reliqurery with tons of potential and they do NOTHING with them the whole expac. Not even some fun archy related epic quests. Blizz keeeps talking about having finite resources on the subject of cinematics and voice over and yet all these other companies that have done no where near as well as blizz put tons of both in their games and have better graphics, races and classes( Elementalist, I can fire blasts of water at foes, will we ever see such in the shaman or resto spec? Hell no that would be far too big a drain on resources.)Sorry to rant but I am kinda at my wits end with these guys. Their rather condescending answer to the guy just asking if moonkin form would get updated? I mean is it really so hard to give the seven year old model up to date textures and polgons, no "re-do" here just give it some polish. Tree of life got one out of the blue and travel and swim forms still look gawd awful.I just cannot concive what goes on their heads......and the 4.3 trailer.....and how they deleted the popular remixed one that a FAN made within a week?? That was just....loss for words.....I mean I love the game and lore but sometimes ya just got to take a step back and realize...is this really worth it?

@AkawakaHonestly, I would love it if Blizzard spent more time on their story and quests than they do on designing raid encounters. I would love it if they didn't leave so many stories unfinished, but they have made considerable improvements to the game and they have made some very compelling raid encounters. The problem isn't so much that Blizzard has "lost touch with reality". The problem is they have been trying very hard for a long time to please everyone. By everyone I mean the focus of their game has always been raiding, but they also provide content for non-raiders. So they're trying to please everyone, and no company, not even Blizzard can do that. However they are showing that they realize their mistakes, oversights, and shortcomings. All of the planned additions coming in MoP, and the additions made in 4.3 with the LFR and Transmogrification are a step in the right direction. That being said the real problem may not even be their development and game design. The real problem is a lot of their customers have been so spoiled by how awesome they are that many players of World Of Warcraft don't realize just how well they have done. Seriously, what other subscription based MMO has ever had 12 million players? What MMO has ever been so well known by non-gamers?As for the updated Moonkin form, you'd groan too if you had to answer the same question for the thousandth time...And the "deleted" fan video? Where was it deleted from? Do you mean this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aLqxJlGZXXAStop complaining and find a gaming company that delivers to your expectations.

@LukeWhile I honestly understand your comments as I mentioned how I did and still do love the lore and stroies of wow, I still cannot give them such unwavering support when they could do so much that would cost them so little. The druid and cat forms were updated ages ago and had multiple different designs and looks, same with the new tree of life form. While the moonkin has not even been given a equal number of polygons and textures; I am no computer dev but such a thing would not cripple their "resources". It is important because a blance druid is stuck in that gawd awful form all the time. I like the idea of a moonkin but they do look terrrible and being stuck like that is not fun so I can never be a balance druid because of it. Plus on travel and swin forms, I seriously doubt most of the Druid community who adore the lore and their class would object to a Stag form such as Malorne's new one, bingo no need to amke a new one just transfer it, and maybe give the trols a raptor. Such improvements that would be a big deal to so many and would cost blizz so little, just boggle my mind when they cannot even anounce they are doing or just do it like they did with tree of life suddenly. The reaction to the guy asking about moonkin form does not deserve that kind of response when we are paying these guys every month. If it is asked that much than just do it already! I have been excited for mists because of the new faction molten front things, the pve secnarios and pet battles too, because they off alternatives to raiding finally. But you have to admit when a company has to keep reminding their players the point is to have "fun" something feels amiss. I always feel this way to many raiders, if ya love it great but so many who aspire to it just always complain or worry about dps output, healing numbers and tanking numbers that sound like nerd raging accountants.I play this game to simply wander around a fantasy world whose races and stories I love and the story never ends. Uldum for me was heaven, I love all the cineamatics and story development that I think should have been done in far more places. It is always sad when so many whine about it. Blizz has finally realized not everyone loves or wants raiding great, but mmy main nitpick are these quality of lie improvements that would cost them so little yet they seem to makesound like a herculean task.Little things like the moonking issue, giving female worgen ONE face and ONE hair colour to choose from. Or their idiotic excuse for not updating the playbe race models because some players would freak; WHAT masses of players would freak for a basic texture/polygon improvment with some decent customization options????I do still, well maybe not love but really like blizz, just irks me when they mess up these lil things so badly and this is what the Theron story shows so well. A new short story and one of the last to be posted, yet blizz could not have even bothered, it feels like a slap in the face and the factt hey do not seem to realize it. It is just like how horrible the 4.3 trailer was when both previous trailers were utterly amazing. And I believe I read on here someone posted the fan made version of it with edited vocals on the wow forums and it got removed by blizz. That is what I heard at least and if true it is very sad.If my lil labtop can play GW 2 then I will be happy as can be but I have sincerly cared for wow and it just frustrates me how the number one guys can act over such simple quality of life updates. It is just sad.

Well, to pick a small point - players really *will* freak out when Blizzard finally updates the character models. I genuinely is an issue. Were you around during Patch 2.4? That was the patch that people went bananas about a tiny change to female humans' eyes.http://wow.joystiq.com/2008/03/28/does-my-human-female-look-psycho-to-you/
