Around Azeroth: Scenes from the Warcraft illustrated Bible
Tauren paladin Goldencalf of Forgot to Wipe on Shadowmoon (US-H) has transmogrified his gear into an appropriately colored set and gathered himself a circle of worshippers, as biblically inclined readers might expect. But Goldencalf became tired of waiting for Aaron and Moses to sort everything out and chose to cut out the middlemen, smiting the idolaters himself with the help of Consecration. Our cow is a vengeful cow.

Trying for end of month controversy to boost the hits by any chance?

The subject matter is not really good for much else ;-)

I think its funny.
Holy Cows aren't to be messed with. :O

I have seen people in game unwilling to make warlocks because they meddle with demons and "thats anti-christian". I can see this topic going places :D

This isn't going to go anywhere because - as one of those Christians who is not comfortable playing a warlock (at least as Blizzard has portrayed them as demonologists) - most of us recognize a difference between someone else doing something irreverent or disrespectful, which is their right, and what we ourselves are comfortable doing.

From the Book of PwN, Verses L33T through Epic....
"And lo, did the holy cow of questionable but still hilarious name and class combination lay upon thee religious worshippers of himself, a critical Consencrate.
And from this Consencrate did spring painful damage, slowly wittling away from the worshippers' flesh, a damage and burn so severe, they cried out in agony for though God on high, saying 'Nerf This!'
For the Mighty Lord then said upon the nonbelievers....'Bitches need to get schooled. Buff that stuff up for your incredible arrogance and self doubt of my L33T pwning skills, thinking Moses wouldn't brb when he CLEARLY called for a fortnight break! I mean, now he's gonna totally going to accidentally DE that Legendary BoP Ten Commandments cause he's angry, and you best be getting your fail rumpuses back to begging for my buffs again! Jehova, OUT!'
And lo, did the noobs weep"
Amen

I've had Goldencalf as a tank before in LFR. He's very competent at what he does, and his name plus transmog set also helps him stand out (as well as being competent in LFR)

Hmmmm. Great pic, but rather tasteless description. Not offensive, per say, but I would have chosen a different direction.
"Our cow is a vengeful cow" was a great line ;)

Somehow, the first time I heard of the golden calf was in Dogma.

Wait, the idol smites those who believe he is a god? Talk about mixed-signals.

As a Christian this made me lol so hard.
Specially the "Our cow is a vengeful cow" xD. Keep up the good work WoWinsider! :D

I'm not really offended by the description, but that guild name is repugnant. Bleugh.

I once quoted the start of Rise of the Horde as a holy text
