Our 25 man is running into the same issue. We've had about 7-8 people leave to go to SWTOR, join more progressed 10 man raids or just life in general. I dislike the feel of 10 man raids, but it feels like that is the road blizzard is heading down. It is easier on personnel to control 10 players versus 25. Some fights are easier on 10 and some are easier on 25, but I get the overall feeling it is easier to find 10 relatively similar skilled people versus 25.

10's also have more flexiblity to go with say a one tank fight (though I know some have to for heroics to beat enrages), 2 healers or 3. So there is actually a bunch more combos that can become available in 10's.
