As an officer of a 25 man progression I totally agree with the article and my 2 copper would be that for Blizzard, the only thing that will drive decision making is subscriptions and 25 mans are not driving subscriptions. Lore, loyalty, history, mean little..."It's the economy dummy".To explain the earlier DPS % question. Yes a 25 man could carry a weaker player or two on farm content, but only after higher end players acquire more experience and gear to make that transition. However on progression bosses, 25 mans have 2.5 the difficulty requirement of a 10 man so both hold equal dps and hps requirements per man with 2.5 times the coordination. As a personal preference, I like the challenge of a 25 versus a 10 man and thats probably why the best raiding guilds in the world also continue 25 maning (because 25 mans are more challenging). If Blizzard by miracle decided to prioritize 25 man raiding, then they would divide 10 man and 25 man raiding again and they would throw a higher incentive to put forth the effort in real means other than more gear or higher level gear. Higher level gear might be enough of an incentive, however they could also achieve the same results through special achievements or emotes or titles or transmogs or mounts or pets....Bottom line is that it is not a priority, because it is not the reason subscriptions are dropping.thank you for the article
