I'm in a 25 man raiding guild and in the main the content is tuned harder on 25 than 10 though there are a few exceptions. The biggest difference is on fights that have traffic issues. It's much easier to spread out on fight mechanics that require it on 10 than 25, H Baleroc is a prime example. Managing the cooties on that fight is much, much easier on 10 man.
During progression we've occasions to do fights as a 10 vs 25 due to poor signups and are almost always amazed how much easier the 10 man version is. The main advantage 25s have over 10s is that it is easier to recover from eff ups due to having 3 rather than 1 battle rezzes.
