Have reforging demands become too complex?

I'm not a raider, but I do reforge all my gear. I know what my optimal stats are for each spec and I just eyeball it for DPS. "Oh I need more hit, I'll reforge my crappiest green stats to hit. I need less hit, woohoo, I can reforge some off for crit/mast/haste." Sometimes I end up over the hit cap by half a percent or more but I'm okay with that when the alternative is under.

Reforging as a tank is easy: everything goes to mastery (until block cap if you're plate). I'm even going mastery heavy on my bear and love the flexibility for cat that it gives (with minimal survivability loss). The only one I use a website for is my resto druid because lol haste plateaus :(
