I've been a holy paladin since BC, and haven't really played any other classes so I can't comment on them. But once I got used to the pally changes, I didn't mind healing at the beginning - but there are a few flaws that are beginning to be really irritating. Not being able to control other players deaths is one - particularly when you're in a pug and still cop the blame for it (which unfortunately happened WAY to often - I refused to heal 5 man pugs until the most recent ones for that reason) and the spammy nature of the new raids. I've had people ask me what my HPS is, which is completely stupid... up until now you would be an idiot to even ask, but all anyone cares about is how much healing you can spam out rather than how skilled you are at keeping the team alive while conserving mana.
