ive tanked T11-13ive healed T11-13ive dps'd T11-13if i miss a cd while tanking that does not 1 shot me, its the healers problem, if i don't take bother to use feint or pop a cd to avoid aoe boss damage its the healers problem, boss mechanic is to do lots of aoe to everyone and is unavoidableits the healers problem, in a 10-25 man you can tell people to take care and they will listen, being lazy or bad will result in consequences whether you are subbed out or you will simply not be able to progressyou cant make people care enough to get out of fire faster in 5 mans and 25lfr, because its generally been designed not to 1 shot people, it can be healed through, and the person being punished isn't the tank that wont blow a cd to ease the healing required, it wont be the dps that doesn't really want to get out of the fire hence lose the dps numbers, its the healer, he is punished, and if you scrape through the encounter no one cares that the group made the heal work 50% more so they could do 25% less work, boss died who cares, its the problem with encounters we have right now, the only thing we have seen consistently used to punish people for ignoring mechanics is to make them take damage.and if it doesn't kill them instantly its gets deemed "Heal through it"i would like to see more DoS type punishment dealt, ie whirlwinds, stuns, or pacifies, et la, hurt dps by making them lose dps on the boss, a debuff? a slow?hurt the tank by stunning them?, more durability loss?, meh anyway, i dont heal anymore,

"i would like to see more DoS type punishment dealt, ie whirlwinds, stuns, or pacifies, et la,"This, so very much. Coupled with tight enrage timers and relevant threat, avoidable debuffs as opposed to avoidable damage make you care to GTFO the void zone.

"i would like to see more DoS type punishment dealt, ie whirlwinds, stuns, or pacifies, et la, hurt dps by making them lose dps on the boss, a debuff? a slow?hurt the tank by stunning them?, more durability loss?, "I think being hit by Hour of Twlight in LFR should put a 10% dps reduction on the DPS. Hit them in the only place it hurts and make them accountable for beating the enrage timer. You're right, the people who are generally penalised are the healers, and a lot of players have the expectation that the stupid will be healed through and no effort is required on their part.

Not to sound like a broken record, but Blizzard has balanced the game on the backs of healers since its inception. Even encounters that are intended to be gear checks and DPS races? Surprise! It's on the healers. "Crap, we've lost too much DPS already...wipe it up. Nice job, healers...""We need the extra DPS to beat the soft enrage, so we're going to have to sit a healer in order to bring extra DPS." (End result? The remaining healers have to work even harder.)Fair or not, this has been the message reinforced by Blizzard for so long, people cannot look at responsibility in any way that *doesn't* touch healers. Even when tanks talk about popping cooldowns, it's from the perspective of "making the healer's life easier." Wait a tick...shouldn't tanks be popping cooldowns because it's part of your class?!? What does making the healer's life easier have to do with it? Are you saying you wouldn't pop the cooldowns if your healer honestly didn't give a turd?
