that seems exceptionally fast, unless you were sitting on a pile of VP and JP before you went on your gearing quest. more explanation please. also, it's late in the XPac and the "gearing model" has evolved to fit the current state of the game. it would be, in my opinion, wholly pointless if you HAD to run your alts through all the normal 85 dungeons, then the heroics, then the troll-roics, then the HoT heroics, then raid finder, etc etc. like it or not, half of what I just typed there is OLD content. the game moves fast, and that's ok.

I'd say the author just got very lucky with drops. I'm only 2/5 in LFRT13 and still mostly packing some HoT gear. There's been the odd, extremely lucky upgrade here and there (Signet of Grasping Mouths, and one Hunter was kindly enough to give me their second Vishanka without any questions asked on only my second Fall of Deathwing run) but everything else I've either been sitting on since officially finishing up gearing on HoT or by grinding my way through VP stuff.I know I'll probably never see either of the trinkets on my character. I know that my next guaranteed attainable best-in-slot upgrade will incidentally be a replacement for one of my two precious T13 items. I know that once again I've run Siege at Wyrmrest without getting anything for it except a small hole in my bank account where my income didn't cover the cost of the flask I chugged. Again. The point I'm trying to make is that people who have been crawling by their eyelids to gear up slowly in the Raid Finder really don't want to hear the tale of someone who managed to win three tokens in a week.
