Yup, I very nearly dropped the game around the time the Zul'NotAgains came out. My. Freaking. God. I hate those. I hated waiting half an hour as DPS to get into one, just to have half the group drop the instant they saw the wrong loading screen, just to wipe a half dozen times on Jin'Do because the freaking heals didn't understand "Stay by the DPS so they can AoE ghosts off you, or you die" and went running around like an idiot.
But you had to do it if you wanted to VP cap.
Luckily the Twilights struck mostly the right balance, and the tweaked dungeon finder means you don't wait all day for one queue (and that you can do them all in a day instead of being forced to log in every single day).
Even more luckily-er, Blizz seems to realize that people want more to do than just raid at max level and are putting in more things to do. That will be good, because the current model is rather broken. You don't do much while leveling because you're leveling, the goal is to max out. When you max out, if you don't raid there is very limited amounts of stuff you can do.
Would be nice if they would introduce some kind of scaling mechanism that would let you run old content at max level by reducing your level and gear down to where it was appropriate.
